Dear Coaches,

I am the wrestling coach at West-Oak high school. I am trying to bring back the Warrior’s Dual tournament with a twist. I have decided to use a format that I feel is fair so that every team receives the most number of matches allowed in two days. I am looking for this event to be very competitive, and hopefully allow teams to wrestler other teams they are not familiar with. This tournament will be run as fast and as smooth as possible. I will do everything in my power to make sure this tournament is top notch. I have included all the information you will need to know.

Information:

v This will be a 12 Team Tournament.

v Friday night will be an Individual Tournament.(format has not been set)

v Saturday we will have a round robin Duals Tournament. (pools and cross pool for championships)

v I am looking for 12 teams, hopefully 6 will be from out of state and the other 6 will be from South Carolina.

v There will be a weigh in at 4:30 pm on Friday with wrestling beginning at 5:30 pm.

v There will be a weigh in at 7:30 pm on Saturday with wrestling beginning at 8:30 pm.

v The entry fee will be $200 per team. This is for officials.

v We will run five mats Friday night and drop to three mats for Saturday.

v Admission will be $5 per adult, children under 8 free. Admission will be the same Saturday.

v Concession stands will be available. No outside food/drinks allowed in Gym. We will have an area where your team can keep their food and drinks (Cafeteria).

v Best Hospitality room around!

v Individual Awards will be:

- First, Second, and Third place will receive medals

- First Place receives a Tournament T-Shirt

v Team awards will be

- First, Second, and Third place will receive a trophy.

- First, Second, and Third place will receive medals
