SPARTANBURG, SC – The Pioneers Men’s Wrestling Team at Spartanburg Methodist College announced a signing to take place at 3 p.m., Thursday, May 15, in the Grier Room at Bridges Arena. Wrestlers signing Thursday will be:

On April 30, the team signed its first seven high school wrestlers to compete on the 2003-2004 team.

The team will begin working out together this September, and start practicing on the mats in October. On Nov. 7, they will travel to the first of two pre-season tournaments at Cumberland College in Kentucky. The following week they will then travel to Pembroke State University in Lumberton N.C. Regular season matches are planned against Anderson College, Carson Newman College, Belmont Abbey College, Pensacola Christian, Gardner-Webb, the Citadel, Catawba College, and Maryville College in Tennessee. Other competition planned for later in the season includes the Mid-South Tournament in Jefferson City, Tenn.
