The ability to control your opponent from the top position is one of the ultimate equalizers in scholastic wrestling. However, the ability to DOMINATE your opponent from the top is where Coach Pence, 2009 NC 1A Coach of the Year, Coach of the 2009 1A State Champions and co-owner of PCSP, has traditionally excelled and produced some of the most talented top wrestlers in NC year in and year out. He knows what it requires to take advantage of every situation in order to score near fall or better yet, the fall. Coach Pence’s philosophy on top is a simple yet brutal one:

“ ….there is a big difference between being on bottom and trying to escape, and being on bottom trying to not to get pinned! It changes everything when you threaten a wrestler from top like that!”

The CutNoMore Wrestling Camp is designed to teach you to stay in good position, stop your opponents first move, ride, score, and pin.

The CutNoMore summer series is conducted in a drill-type format held a Port City Sports Performance (3205 Kitty Hawk Rd Unit #3 Wilmington, NC 28405). Each session will last one day, that one day will consist of 3 two hour sessions. These sessions are limited to 30 devoted wrestlers to ensure that one-on-one attention is being given to each wrestler, and will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis. This sessions will be restricted for wrestlers in grades 6-12; wrestlers with some experience are encouraged (exceptions will always be made on an individual basis). CutNoMore focuses on 8 top different series: The Radman Ride, Leg Riding(the camp specialty), Farside cradles, Sit thru cradles, The Claw, and the most devastating half-nelson series on the planet “The Monster Half,” which consists of 20 different half-nelsons! Coaches are welcome to come along, training DVD’s will also be available for your purchase based on each session with more of Coach Pence’s speed drills that help all learners retain, you will also be able to pre-order . Detailed descriptions of each series is as follows:
